UK casino bonuses priced in the pounds you really bet

Every UK casino bonus now calls itself low wagering. The real cost hides in the small print, so we turn each offer into one number. That number is the pounds you must bet before you can withdraw.

What British Bonus Finder does

We work out what a UK casino bonus really asks of you, in pounds, so you can easily compare offers before you deposit.

Reg, our small-print reader, presenting

British Bonus Finder is a UK casino welcome offer comparison, that tells you what a bonus really costs before you sign up. For each offer and every rule attached to it, we turn it into one number. That number is how many pounds you have to bet to withdraw.

That number has become increasingly important. Starting on the 19th January 2026, the Gambling Commission capped wagering requirements at 10x for offers in Great Britain. So the headline stops telling you much. Nearly every offer says low wagering somewhere, and you have to look into the offer to see how much you really need to bet to withdraw your cash.

Every piece of information on the site is from the casinos own terms, and we show the date we last checked the information. We only cover casinos that are licensed by the Gambling Commission. When we think an offer is not worth taking, we say so and tell you where you can take a better offer, or no offer at all.

Who the site is for

  • Slot players on a small budgetMost UK welcome offers are free spins for a £10 or £20 deposit. The rankings show which ones pay the winnings as cash.
  • Table and live casino playersRoulette, blackjack and live games often count 10% or less towards wagering. These players get their own lists.
  • Anyone reading the small printThe guides explain every line of a UK bonus in plain English, with worked examples in pounds.
  • Anyone who just wants the sumThe calculator takes any offer and gives you the total you must bet.

The grade is about the welcome offer only. Grade A means no wagering, or 1x at most. Grade C means a bonus at 10x. Each review shows the clause behind every figure, with a dated screenshot from the casino's own terms. How the grades work: how we review.

What low wagering means in the UK now

A short answer before looking at any list.

Reg, our small-print reader, calculating

Wagering requirements are the amount you have to wager in order to withdraw the bonus money or what you win with the bonus. For a 10x wagering requirement, you would need to wager the bonus money 10 times over. For example, a 10x wagering requirement on a £20 bonus means that you would need to wager £200 before the bonus money is withdrawn.

In the UK, no wagering requirements means that the money is credited to your cash balance. A 1x wagering requirement means that you would need to wager the bonus money once. A 10x wagering requirement means you would need to wager the bonus money 10 times.

Of the 10 casinos we review, 8 of them have no wagering requirements, meaning that the winnings from free spins are added to your cash balance, 1 asks for a single wager, and 1 has a 10x match bonus. Your deposit is never part of the bonus offer. Because of UK rules, you are always free to withdraw your deposit, even if a bonus is active.

Complete rules are provided along with worked examples for understanding wagering requirements, low wagering, and no wagering.

Three things a bonus headline hides

The bonuses specify 10x or less. The following three statements determine what it really costs.

What it counts on

"10x" can mean ten times the bonus or ten times the deposit and bonus together. On a £20 deposit with a £40 bonus, the second is £600 of bets: Grosvenor's UK terms spell out exactly that sum.

Deposit and bonus wagering

What your game counts

Slots usually count in full. Other games like roulette and blackjack may count 10% and live casino games may count 5%. Baccarat may count nothing at all. The UK cap does not effect this, hence a 10x bonus may mean £2,000 of roulette.

Game weighting

What you can keep

Other factors like a cap on winnings from free spins, the 24 hour rule and use of a payment method that is excluded may be more restrictive than the wagering requirements. LuckyMate caps spin winnings at £100. Pub Casino excludes Skrill deposits.

The same 10x bonus can mean £200 or £2,000 of bets, depending on the game. The calculator takes any offer, the base it counts on, your game and your stake, and gives you the real figure.

One writer, one method, the same for every casino.

Gareth LlewellynWriter, Cardiff

Gareth Llewellyn lives in Cardiff and writes every page here. He started British Bonus Finder after the Gambling Commission capped wagering at 10x in January 2026, when most pages online still quoted 35x offers that no longer existed. He covers UK licensed casinos only: no sports betting, no crypto casinos and no sites without a UK licence.

The drawings in flat caps (a type of hat) point to the lines worth reading. Each figure on the site comes directly from the casinos’ own UK terms, and each page shows the date it was last checked. Every casino goes through the same four steps.

  1. Licence first

Every casino is checked on the Gambling Commission’s public register.

  2. The full terms

Here’s what UK players see: offer terms, general bonus terms and payment terms.

  3. Into pounds

Multiple, base, weighting and caps, are reduced to one figure: what you need to bet.

  4. Proof beside it

A dated screenshot of the clause is shown next to each claim.
